The young learners eagerly explored the origins of the cherished ritual, as well as how it became a hallmark of British identity. They practiced proper etiquette, learned the art of tea pouring, and discovered how tea became an integral part of British social life.

The hands-on experience was made even more special as parents joined in the festivities, bonding with their children and engaging in lively discussions about British customs. Together, they practiced pouring tea, arranging treats, and sharing in the joy of learning.

This unique event was made possible by Lakenheath Elementary's Host Nations Teacher with invaluable support from the Parent Teacher Organization and the school’s dedicated kindergarten teachers. Their collaboration turned the event into a truly memorable and enriching experience.

The Afternoon Tea not only offered a cultural lesson but also fostered a sense of community, blending education with family spirit. Here's to more cups of tea and cultural connections!
