Dear Parents,

Can you believe we are already past the halfway mark in quarter one? As we welcome another exciting school year, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support and partnership. With the weather changing, please ensure your children are dressed appropriately for outdoor recess, so they can enjoy their time outside comfortably.

I also encourage you to read with your child each day, as it greatly enhances their learning experience. Additionally, we want our students to write daily—crafting narratives, jotting down notes to family, writing to a grandparent, and/or explaining their thinking on paper. Please incorporate writing activities at home to support this skill development.

Lastly, I want to emphasize the importance of driving safely around campus. Please ensure that the taxi lane is not blocked in the morning or afternoon, and display your placards in the windows for student pick-up. Student safety is our top priority, and your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

This month, we’ll focus on fostering community connections and encouraging open communication. Be sure to check out upcoming events, and don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or suggestions.
